Chris Rusanowsky (Photographer)

traveling the United States with my mother and sister and always around creative people as a child. My grandmother put the first camera in my hands, right away I focused on people.

After high school, I started my career as a photojournalist traveling to the Philippines to document poverty in the ghettos. This experience paved my road to document some amazing stories all over the world.

Needing a balance between the dangers and competitive world of news photography, I started working as a wedding photographer for studios in Pennsylvania and California. The experiences I have had with couples made me appreciate the beauty of humanity.

One year from now I've reconnected with my childhood best friend after sixteen years. Now as a couple we are having our first child! And man do I feel like the luckiest man on earth.

When I am not photographing weddings, I am usually spending time with the people I love, chasing stories for ZUMA Press, or spending time camping in our beautiful country.

Thank you for taking the time to read my biography and I hope to be your next photographer.
